The City of Selkirk is accepting proposals to manage and operate our fully equipped concession area at the Selkirk Recreation Complex for a three (3) year term commencing on approximately August 15, 2017.
The equipment includes: fridges, freezers, grill, triple sinks, cash registers, storage rooms, double overhead serving windows, slushy machine, popcorn machine, large grill with range hood, deep fryer and drink coolers.
The hours of operation will be dependent upon the event schedule as provided by the City of Selkirk. While it is mainly a seasonal operation, September to April, the successful bidder will be required to open for any Special Events that the City of Selkirk may host throughout the year.
The successful bidder will have a minimum of five (5) years’ management experience in the concession operations, restaurant industry or comparable area of business.
All concession staff will be required to have current food handling certification and provided with appropriate, matching company uniforms.
Company liability insurance policy of at least $2,000,000.00 is required with the City of Selkirk named within it.
