As of Saturday August 7, 2021, the City of Selkirk will be deescalating our COVID-19 Business Continuity Plan and Response Strategy to Level II.
As part of our commitment to ensure the health and safety for community members and our staff, masks will remain mandatory in all city-run facilities, offices, public restrooms and on Selkirk Transit and Mobility.
Capacity limits will be removed from Transit and Mobility, however we ask that you respectfully keep a safe distance from other riders when possible.
Commencing Monday, August 9th, the Civic Office will be open to the public during the hours of 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. We would like to remind residents that all city services can be conducted online or over the phone and we encourage you to use those services or reach out to us if you require assistance.
The Selkirk Park Pool & Splashpad will remain at a capacity of 300 patrons.
At this time bookings for city facilities remain limited and capacity limits will be determined based on the requirements of each booking. Â
Regular parking enforcement including the 24 hour on-street parking limit will return.
We are continuously monitoring the situation and will advise if there are any changes.
