Eveline Street Reconstruction: The upcoming work week will see the intersection of Queen and Eveline closed to traffic effective Monday, June 20th and will stay closed for the foreseeable future due to further road excavation. Curb and gutter concrete work will start on Wednesday on the entire west side of Eveline from Dufferin to Eaton, as well as the continued installation of silva cells, further reducing foot traffic on the west side of the street. All businesses on the west side should be aware that side and rear entrances should be used whenever available for the next few weeks.
This is a reminder that only northbound traffic is allowed on Eveline between Eaton and Dufferin. There has been some vehicle traffic coming off the side streets and turning south onto the one open lane causing the potential for collisions.
