MMIWG2S+ Local Event

Co-chair Manitoba MMIWG2S Family &Survivor Coalition Jeannie White Bird will be giving a mural tour at Sacred Spirits of Turtle Island to Commemorate the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls & Two Spirited. The tour will start at 5PM and afterwards Red Ribbons will be available for anyone who wants to write names of loved ones and friends who have gone missing or murdered through acts of violence.
At 6PM anyone is invited to gather at the west side of the St. Peter’s Dynevor Bridge, Provincial Trunk Highway 4N (formerly known at Bridge to Nowhere)to hold ceremony and tie the Red Ribbons onto the rails of the bridge.
