The NEW Interlake Players Travelling Musical Theatre Company is opening their 2016 tour in Selkirk performing the hilarious parody “The Musical of Musicals: The Musical!” The performance is a fundraiser for various Selkirk and area non-profit organizations. Further shows on the tour will be held in Gimli, Ashern and Stonewall.
The 80 minute show uses the same basic plot with the young June unable to pay her rent to the evil landlord, but in five short shows satirizing the musical styles of five great musical writers.
The show stars: Chris Armstrong, Lindsey Sturgeon, Hayden Bytheway as well as Selkirk residents Mitch Obach and Kendra Obach.
