Toronto Avenue Reconstruction – sod has been placed on the boulevard. We ask that residents do not cut the grass as the contractor will be responsible for making the first cut. Asphalt work will start on Tuesday morning, potentially carrying into Wednesday. Toronto Avenue will be closed to traffic while the asphalt work is being done.
Main Street Reconstruction – asphalt work will start on Tuesday and carry over into Wednesday on the driving lanes on Main Street between Manitoba Avenue and Queen Avenue. One lane will stay open in both directions for traffic. The side roads will be paved on Wednesday. Expect some traffic interruptions during this time. Concrete curbing work will start next week on Main Street north of Queen Avenue. Forcemain work is complete. Water main tie-ins are almost finished – just waiting for final testing.
