Remembrance Day Service
A public Remembrance Day service will be held on Sunday, November 11th, 2018 at 10:30am at the Selkirk Recreation Complex.
This annual service is jointly sponsored by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No.42 and the Army, Navy and Air Force Veterans Unit 151.
A special invitation is extended to residents of Selkirk and District to attend the Remembrance Day services.
Don’t forget to wear your “poppy”
Transit Service
Selkirk Transit will operate from 9:00am to 3:00pm on a special schedule. A second bus will be added to the route reducing the time between buses at any stop to 30 minute intervals. A special stop will be added to the route at the Selkirk Recreation Complex to bring riders to the Remembrance Day Service held at the complex. The ride is free for all those wearing a poppy or those making a donation to the poppy fund on the bus.
