We’d like to remind dog owners within the City of Selkirk to renew their dog licenses by January 31, 2020.
Licenses are free with a proof of vaccination. You can pick up your licenses at:
The City of Selkirk Civic Office – 200 Eaton Ave.
Selkirk Animal Hospital – 601 Christie Ave. down Mercy Street.
Selkirk Veterinary Services – 6 Wersch St. across from the Hospital.
If you register your dog at the City of Selkirk Civic Office, you’ll receive a free Selkirk Parks Endowment Fund Doggy Poopy Bag dispenser with biodegradable bags and a couple treats for your good boy or girl.
It’s important to have your dog registered. Not only is it a pre-requisite if you wish to bring your dog to the Selkirk Dog Park, but it helps our by-law officers reunite lost dogs with their owners. It also ensures that your dogs vaccinations are up to date.
