Manitoba’s Chief Public Health Officer announced today that the Winnipeg Metro Region, which includes Selkirk, will be moving to the Restricted Level: Orange of Manitoba’s Pandemic Response System starting on Monday, September 28th and will be in place for no less than four weeks.
It is now mandatory to wear a mask or face covering in all public spaces, including outdoors where physical distancing measures are not possible. Group sizes will be limited to no more than 10 people both indoors and outdoors.As indicated by public health officials, programs and organizations that have their own, provincially approved protocols in place will be exempt from these new restrictions. The City of Selkirk services and programs are included in this.
