Please see below for closures and changes to service throughout the holiday season. And remember, most city services can be conducted online.
Christmas Tree Drop Off – December 26-January 15th in the Kin Centre Parking Lot.
Municipal Buildings
City of Selkirk Municipal buildings will be closed at 1pm on Wednesday, December 14th for staff appreciation.
Holiday closures following that are December 26th, 27th and January 2nd.
The Civic office will be closed to the public on December 30th for year end preparation, but staff will be working and available to assist through CitizenSupport
Committee of the whole will be taking place as scheduled on Monday, December 19th.
The meetings on December 26 and January 2 have been cancelled.
The next regular meeting of Council will be taking place on Monday, January 9.
There will be no changes to the garbage and recycling pick up.
The Waste Transfer station will be closed on Saturday, December 24th.
The Rec Complex will be closed on December 24th. There was nothing scheduled to take place on this day, and this date cannot be booked.
The Walk & Jog program will be closed Dec 26, 27. Open Dec 28-30, 2022. Closed Jan 2, 2023.
FREE Skating times have been added throughout the holidays. Participants are asked to enter through the main lobby of the Rec Complex.
No registration is required, just drop in and skate!

Transit will not be running December 25-27 but will reopen on December 28 for regular service.
And will close again on January 1, 2023.
Mobility will not be running December 25-26 but will be running on December 27th.
