The City of Selkirk is seeking a citizen volunteer that is interested in sitting on the Gaynor Family Regional Library Board.

You must be a resident of the City of Selkirk and willing to sit on the board for approximately 2 years.

Board Responsibilities
The board is responsible for effectively managing library resources and providing quality library services and programming to the people of the City of Selkirk, R.M. of St. Andrews, R.M. of St. Clements and the Village of Dunnottar. The board provides governance, supervision and management of the regional library.
Board Size and Composition
The Gaynor Family Regional Library Board consists of 11 members composed of:
- 1 member of City of Selkirk Council
- 1 member of the R. M. of St. Clements Council
- 1 member of the R. M. of St. Andrews Council
- 1 member of the Village of Dunnottar Council
- 2 citizen members from the City of Selkirk, R. M. of St. Clements and the R.M. of St. Andrews
- 1 citizen member from the Village of Dunnottar
Meetings
The board generally meets from 5 pm – 7 pm every third Thursday of the month, except in July, August and December at the Gaynor Family Regional Library located at 806 Manitoba Avenue.
