Kidfish Ice Fishing Derby

All Proceeds Go To Cancer Care Manitoba and the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba

Selkirk, MB – The Anglers of Manitoba are inviting families to bundle up, grab their fishing lines, and head out on to the ice for the annual Kids Fishing For A Cure Ice Fishing Derby, being held on Sunday, January 24th at the Selkirk Float Base located just north of the City of Selkirk.

So far over 700 families have signed up, but there’s still room for more!

It’s a fun family event with over $20,000 in prizes and giveaways, and all of the proceeds go to Cancer Care Manitoba and the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba in order to help local kids and families in need.

Every kid on the ice is guaranteed to get a gift, with additional prizes being given away all day. There’s a Grand Prize valued at $2,000 to the best angler (young or old!) and cash prizes for the top five kids under 16.

Tickets will be available at the Gate for $25.00

Gates open at 8:00am and the tournament runs from 10:00am to 2:00pm
