New Selkirk Waterfront Farmer’s Market vendor feature of the week!
Rockin Rolls
If you think you know spring rolls, think again.
Cathy Danylchuk’s Rockin Rolls will be available at the New Selkirk Waterfront Farmer’s Market this August and their unique fillings have customers coming back for more. The New Selkirk Waterfront Farmer’s Market runs in conjunction with the City of Selkirk’s D.O.G Days of Summer, presented by the Selkirk Record and sponsored by Sunova.
“We have different fillings, pepperoni and cheese, the Frickles are very popular, probably our most popular,” Danylchuk said.
Frickles are filled with cream cheese, ham and a garlic pickle, and they’re just one of the fun fillings that people have been devouring. Danylchuk sells an average of 130 dozen Rockin Rolls in one afternoon.
Other flavours include bacon & mac and cheese, Rueben, twice baked potato, Philly cheese steak, potato dill and chicken fried rice. Danylchuk said they’re always inventing more.
“We come up with different flavours every week and we try to introduce something new every week,” she said.
D.O.G Days of Summer, which features food vendors and entertainment, runs every Wednesday in August at the Selkirk Waterfront from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The New Selkirk Waterfront Market, which will feature approximately 30 vendors, runs Wednesdays in August from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., also at the Waterfront.
