Unique clothing on sale at the New Selkirk Waterfront Market

If you’re looking for something cool and comfortable to wear, Aisyah Salleh can assist you like no other.

Salleh, owner of Halisya Clothing, will be selling her own outfits she designs and has made along with tops and dresses she imports from places like India and Korea, at the New Selkirk Waterfront Market, which runs Wednesdays in conjunction with the City of Selkirk’s D.O.G Days of Summer, presented by the Selkirk Record and sponsored by Sunova.

You won’t find Salleh’s unique pieces in any stores, as she says she prefers to sell only at markets and festivals.

She says she loves the atmosphere of markets and is excited to come to Selkirk’s new market.

And though she stocks mostly women’s clothing, she does have some men’s and children’s clothing, and even some purses.

“It’s different every week,” she says.

D.O.G Days of Summer, which features food vendors and entertainment, runs every Wednesday in August at the Selkirk Waterfront from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The New Selkirk Waterfront Market, which will feature approximately 20 vendors, runs Wednesdays in August from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., also at the Waterfront.
