Rally Cap Baseball

Registration now open

Ages 4 – 6 yrs. Tues/Thurs May – June Start time: 6:30 pm

Recreation Complex Athletic Fields

Cost $60.00

The Rally Cap program is specifically tailored towards the needs of our youngest players (aged 4-6) and aims to enhance players’ and coaches’ first experience with the game of baseball.

This is a “learn to play” or t-ball type program.  Each game involves three teams. Two teams will play a 20-minute game, while one team practices in the outfield. Every 20 minutes they switch, so that each team plays two games and has one practice in the 60 minute game period.

Midway through the season, players will have a chance to test their skills and earn a different colored baseball hat.  Different coloured hats are achieved based on the level reached.  Shirts and hats are provided by Dairy Queen and Baseball Canada.

Players get to keep their shirts and hats at the end of the season.

Teams will play against other teams in the North Winnipeg catchment area and travel to Winnipeg for “away” games.

The season starts early May (depending on weather) and will conclude mid-end of June.   Nights of play are Tuesdays and Thursdays, with a game start time of 6:30pm.

Parent coaches needed!

At this level, teams of 8 players (max) will play a more organized game of baseball.   Coaches teach/help players learn the fundamentals of baseball.  The primary focus is still about having “FUN!”  Teams will play against other teams in the North Winnipeg catchment area and travel to Winnipeg for “away” games is required.

The season starts early May (depending on weather) and will conclude mid-end of June.

Nights of play are Mondays and Wednesdays, with a game start time of 6:30pm.

There is a one-day Jamboree (tournament) held around the middle June.  There is no entry fee for North Winnipeg teams to participate in this tournament.
