The City of Selkirk’s Play Zone is a FREE program that runs throughout July and August. This program offers school- aged children (K-Grade 6) in the community with a structured and supervised environment to create friendships and learn new skills. The Play Zone promotes inclusion and fun for all abilities through a variety of planned activities. These activities include sport skill development, outdoor games and fun crafts. Activities will vary from week to week as our team leads participants through a variety of fun and games! 

Program Details

Dates: Tuesdays & Thursdays July 2-August 30, 2025

  • Tuesdays- 9:30-12:00 pm
  • Thursdays – 1:00-3:30 pm

Location: Kin Centre; next to the water tower (370 Jemima Street, Selkirk)

Ages: Kindergarten-Grade 6. Note: Must have completed Kindergarten this year and have the ability to go to the washroom independently.

Before you register, read our Informed Consent Agreement and Refund Policy as well as other program policies. 

Registration for this program opens April 15, 2025 at 10:00 am.

Note: We will only permit participants to register for one of the 2 weekly program times. Should spaces remain in the program after June 8th, we will allow those already registered to participate in both sessions and will notify you of such change. Space is limited, first come first serve.
